Honest comparison

sO2 vs. buying it yourself.

Give us your campaign once. Atlas traffics it everywhere it should run. That is the whole pitch.

Buying your own ads sounds free until you count it. A Google account and a Meta account. A DSP seat for programmatic. Different creative specs for each, different billing, different dashboards, and somebody on your payroll stitching five reports into one every month. The ads might work. The ad ops eat you alive.

Here is the twist: Atlas is do-it-yourself too. The difference is what "it" is. On Atlas, DIY means entering your campaign one time and letting it traffic to the right platforms: email first, CTV/OTT retargeting behind it, programmatic anywhere, Google and Meta included. One entry, one report, and when you want decades of media experience plus automation running it for you, our team is a toggle away.

Where doing it yourself genuinely shines

If you have a staffed ad-ops team that loves living in five dashboards, platform-by-platform buying gives you granular control and nobody can take that away from you. Some in-house teams run it beautifully. The honest question is what that workflow costs in salaries, seat fees, and stitched-together reporting, because control is not the trade-off here. Atlas is self-serve too. The trade-off is the chore count.

Side by side

sO2 + Atlas vs. buying it yourself

DIY on Atlas versus DIY across five platforms. Here is what one entry replaces.

CapabilitysO2 + AtlasPlatform-by-platform
Enter campaign info once, traffic everywhere it should run
Google + Meta ads managed for you (decades of experience + automation)
Programmatic access without your own DSP seat
Data-driven email to new prospects (acquisition)
CTV/OTT retargeting of the same audience
One cross-channel report instead of five dashboards
Ad-ops workload on your payroll
Your call
All of it
Run it yourself or hand it to senior buyers
!

Bottom line: DIY is not the problem. Doing it five times per campaign is. Atlas keeps the control and deletes the chores: one entry traffics everywhere that matters, and senior buyers with automation are there the day you want the wheel handed over.

FAQ

Questions we actually get

Do we lose control if Atlas runs the buying?

You keep all of it. Atlas is a self-serve platform: your audience, your budget, your message, your launch button. What disappears is the platform-hopping, the spec juggling, and the report stitching. And when you would rather not drive, senior buyers take over without you changing tools.

We already run Google and Meta in-house. Why change?

Keep what works. Most partners start by handing us what they do not run well, usually email, CTV/OTT, and programmatic, then consolidate Google and Meta once they see one report beating five dashboards.

What does "enter once" actually mean?

One intake: your audience, your offer, your budget, your creative. Atlas traffics that to the appropriate platforms, including programmatic, without you logging into any of them. If an agency uses a platform we do not carry yet, we add it on our side, not yours.

What does it cost compared to doing it ourselves?

Packages have no minimum, and direct insertion orders start at $15K. Before you compare that to free, price your seat fees, your hours, and your ad-ops payroll. Then book a call and we will do the math with you.
